- Enter and retrieve information from electronic and manual data systems.
- File documents and prepare new file folders as required.
- Manage call intake and route calls and messages efficiently.
- Assist with office reception and related support tasks.
- Perform data entry and computer work assignments, reviewing for clarity and accuracy.
- Assist with unit surveys, data collection, and data entry functions.
- Distribute information related to departmental activities, policies, and other materials.
- Collaborate with related departments to coordinate patient schedules.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 18 months of experience in customer service, public relations, office administration, business and financial operations, healthcare administration, or closely related fields.
- Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form.
- Excellent interpersonal and public relations skills.
- Knowledge of customer service protocols, including complaint management and customer satisfaction techniques.
- Basic knowledge of interdepartmental relationships and established chains of command for problem resolution.
- Ability to work effectively and pleasantly with patients, physicians, nurses, administrative, and support staff.
