Key Responsibilities:
Operate a transit bus, ensuring the safe, timely, and efficient transport of passengers.
Welcome passengers, process fare payments, and maintain a secure environment.
Accurately report any incidents, accidents, or mechanical issues.
Perform additional duties as necessary to guarantee a safe and pleasant experience for all passengers.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit for prolonged periods.
Drive in various traffic conditions and weather.
Lift, push, pull, and carry tools or equipment above shoulder height without assistance.
Navigate stairs with ease.
Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Possess a valid driver's license in good standing and the ability to obtain a CDL permit.
Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.
Consistent punctuality and a strong emphasis on attendance.
