About the Role



El Paso Children’s Hospital seeks an experienced Pediatric Endocrinologist to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our endocrinology department.



Key Responsibilities




  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients with endocrine disorders, including diabetes, growth disorders, and thyroid conditions.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans, working closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Stay current with the latest medical research and advancements in endocrinology, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.


Requirements




  • Board certification in Pediatric Endocrinology or Board eligibility with completion of a Pediatric Endocrinology fellowship program.
  • Current Texas medical license and ACGME-approved post-graduate training in Endocrinology.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Pediatric Endocrinology, with a strong track record of providing high-quality patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
