Product Development Engineer

Niagara Bottling is seeking a highly skilled Product Engineer II to join our team. As a key member of our Product Development team, you will be responsible for leading projects from concept to implementation, ensuring timely completion of deliverables, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead project scoping, capital budgeting, and project commercialization timelines across all business units.
- Manage project milestones, including project charters, timelines, risk management logs, and collaboration with Procurement, Sales, Project Management, Engineering Design, Beverage Development, and Product Lifecycle Management teams.
- Provide technical information to Procurement teams to assist in capital negotiations and technology procurement processes.
- Collaborate with Packaging Design & Engineering teams to design, develop, and iterate on customer packaging solutions.
- Participate in product/package line trials to assess capability and feasibility of upcoming product launches.
- Support senior and staff engineers in complex program scoping and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to refine department processes, procedures, models, tools, and standard operating procedures.
- 2-4 years of experience in Beverage Manufacturing, CPG, or related industries.
- 2-4 years of experience in Product Development or related fields.
- Strong understanding of new product development and implementation processes.
- Basic knowledge of bottling, injection molding, and beverage processing technologies.
- Critical thinking skills and ability to perform quantitative analysis to support project decisions.
- Strong organization, communication, and attention to detail skills.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio).
- Good technical writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently on tasks with routine guidance from senior team members.
- 5-7 years of experience in Beverage Manufacturing/Engineering environment.
- 5-7 years of experience in Product Development or related fields.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification or CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) Certification.
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Product Design, Business, or related fields or equivalent experience.
- Preferred Master's Degree in Engineering, Business, Product Design.
Niagara Bottling offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $96,000 to $139,648.35 per year, and benefits for Los Angeles County applicants only.
