Licensing Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Licensing Coordinator to join our team at Medicus Healthcare Solutions. As a key member of our Licensing Team, you will play a critical role in assisting physicians through the licensing application process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of required documents, and providing exceptional customer service to our physicians and internal delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a liaison between physicians and State Licensing Boards to facilitate the licensure process
- Assist physicians with the application process, ensuring all necessary documents are collected and submitted in a timely manner
- Communicate regularly with physicians and internal teams to provide updates on licensure status and resolve any issues that may arise
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of physician personnel files and database
- Provide world-class customer service through phone and email correspondence, ensuring a positive experience for our physicians and internal teams
- Experience working in a professional environment, preferably in a healthcare or administrative setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders
- Impeccable attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines
- Microsoft Office skills, with proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
