Anchor Packaging is a prominent manufacturer specializing in disposable food service packaging, situated in Northeastern Arkansas. We are currently seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Production/Blown Film Helper at our Marmaduke facility.

Position Overview:
The primary function of the Blown Film Helper is to assist the Blown Film Operator in ensuring the safe and efficient production of high-quality film rolls that meet all specifications, thereby contributing to the growth of Anchor Packaging.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Blown Film Helper, your duties will include:

  • Supporting the operation of the Blown Film Line with a focus on safety and quality.
  • Assisting in achieving production targets while minimizing waste.
  • Helping with equipment maintenance, including screen changes and blade replacements.
  • Monitoring product specifications, including roll widths and weights, and making necessary adjustments.
  • Ensuring proper packaging and traceability of all produced items.
  • Maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and assisting colleagues in safe practices.
  • Operating machinery during breaks and maintaining cleanliness in the work area.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving abilities and a commitment to quality.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • A safety-conscious mindset and the capability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Work Environment:
The work environment may involve exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, and varying temperatures. Hearing protection is required due to noise levels.

Physical Requirements:
This position requires frequent standing, walking, and the ability to lift and move items weighing up to 70 pounds.
