About the Role
The Heavy Equipment Operator plays a crucial role in maintaining safe and efficient equipment operations. Primary responsibilities include operating a variety of heavy equipment, such as hydraulic excavators and rubber-tired loaders, while adhering to local, state, and federal regulations. The operator must also perform daily safety checks, minor maintenance tasks, and ensure clean process operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate all equipment safely and efficiently, following company policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and serve as a spotter for trucks arriving and departing from the process operations.
  • Perform daily safety and maintenance checks and document results.
  • Maintain clean process operations, ensuring the work area remains free from clutter and hazards.
  • Cross-train and fill in for operations staff as needed.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should have:
  • At least 5 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
  • Able to speak and write in English.
