Job Overview

At PCI - WILMINGTON, DE, we are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for safely operating a tri-axle dump truck and performing general labor tasks to assist with material processing, property maintenance, pile maintenance, or other projects as needed.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity that requires a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have a current CDL class A or B license, be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Records check, and possess a valid TWIC card.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a tri-axle dump truck and perform general labor tasks to support our operations.
  • Assist with material processing, property maintenance, pile maintenance, or other projects as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety and operational policies, regulations, and programs.
  • Interact effectively with other employees and management to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements

  • Current CDL class A or B license.
  • Able to pass a Motor Vehicle Records check.
  • Forklift experience a plus.
  • Heavy equipment experience a plus.
  • Able to safely lift 50 lbs.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Able to work varied hours including weekends, holidays, evenings, and/or overnight shifts required.
  • Able to travel to other Company operations when needed.
  • Qualified individuals must have or meet the eligibility requirements for a TWIC card.
