DCI Donor Services is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Educator to join our team. As a Clinical Educator, you will play a critical role in ensuring our clinical staff are well-prepared to facilitate organ donation.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement training programs for clinical staff to ensure consistent and uniform standards of practice.
- Facilitate training sessions on various clinical topics and concepts, including referral and donor management, allocation, and recovery.
- Assist with employee evaluations of core clinical competency trainings and overall assessments.
- Participate in field and desktop audits to identify opportunities for improvement and evaluate training needs.
- Utilize performance data and trending to identify training needs.
- 2+ years of experience as an Organ Recovery Coordinator or related healthcare role.
- 2+ years of experience as a preceptor/trainer.
- OPO experience required.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement training curriculum.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and multitask.
- Exceptional teamwork, interpersonal, communication, and conflict management skills.
- Registered Nursing (RN) License preferred.
- Valid Driver's License with the ability to pass MVR underwriting requirements.
