Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Educator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the consistent and uniform standards of practice are observed by our clinical staff, facilitating clinical staff training programs, and creating and maintaining various forms of curriculum for staff on clinical topics and concepts.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement training programs to ensure clinical staff are well-prepared to facilitate organ donation.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to identify training needs and develop targeted training programs.
- Conduct field and desktop audits to identify opportunities for improvement and evaluate training needs.
- Utilize performance data and trending to identify training needs and develop strategies to address them.
- Develop and maintain curriculum for clinical staff training programs.
- Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to clinical staff training and education.
- 2+ years prior experience as an Organ Recovery Coordinator or related healthcare role.
- 2+ years prior experience as a preceptor/trainer.
- OPO experience required.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement training curriculum.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and multitask.
- Exceptional teamwork, interpersonal, communication, and conflict management skills.
- Registered Nursing (RN) License preferred.
- Valid Drivers License with the ability to pass MVR underwriting requirements.
