Job Purpose

The Autonomous Haulage System (AHS) is a comprehensive fleet management system designed to revolutionize the way mines operate. As an AHS Software Engineer, you will be responsible for crafting innovative solutions to unique and challenging problems, working closely with our partners around the world to design and support the next generation of mine planning and optimization technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing high-quality, tested, and efficient code, following industry standards
  • Creating proof of concepts for new, innovative solutions
  • Performing analysis, estimating work, and creating and updating software architecture and design
  • Understanding Modular applications domain and proactively interacting with product teams to improve functional and nonfunctional aspects of platform components
  • Providing technical oversight to development teams and contractors in subject areas
Requirements
  • BSc in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 3+ years of server-side/backend application development experience
  • Strong coding skills in at least one major object-oriented language (C#, Java, C++)
  • Core programming knowledge on multi-threading, garbage collector
  • Experience with CI/CD build and deployment pipelines
  • Proven problem-solving ability and attention to details
  • Experienced in software architecture and design
