Job Summary
The Security Department Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the flow and balance of work in the Security Department. This role requires leadership, direction, and a working environment that promotes teamwork and customer satisfaction, ensuring that the standards of service are met for the Security department in a manner consistent with Swedish's mission, vision, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction to Security Officers, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to perform their duties effectively.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff, adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
- Investigate incidents and complaints, taking corrective action as necessary to prevent future occurrences.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of security-related activities.
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with Swedish's goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree or equivalent in a related field, or two years of related training and experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- FEMA Level or higher certification upon hire.
- Basic Security Officer Certification and Supervisory Development Certification through International Association of Healthcare Security and Safety, preferred.
