Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to Security Officers, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to perform their duties effectively.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff, adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Investigate incidents and complaints, taking corrective action as necessary to prevent future occurrences.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of security-related activities.
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with Swedish's goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent in a related field, or two years of related training and experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • FEMA Level or higher certification upon hire.
  • Basic Security Officer Certification and Supervisory Development Certification through International Association of Healthcare Security and Safety, preferred.
