The Opportunity

You'll have the chance to work with an agile team as they develop digital products to support clients' most pressing missions. As an IT business analyst, you'll propel business analytics and processes forward, and delve into technology trends to deliver user-friendly client experiences.

As a key member of the team, you'll develop leading-edge applications, systems, and products. You'll identify clients' business needs, gather user requirements, and develop user stories. You'll understand the overall direction and nuanced user needs clearly, and lead your team as they fulfill these needs by creating deployable features.

Key Responsibilities
  • Experience with the frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, and theories
  • Experience with gathering, documenting, analyzing, and managing requirements
  • Knowledge of Systems Engineering or Business Analysis methodologies
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
Nice to Have
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience with Department of Defense data
  • Experience with writing functional specifications, facilitating cross-team and cross-divisional meetings, and coordinating team activities
  • Experience in dealing with all levels of management and client executives and representatives
  • Knowledge of business rules
  • Knowledge of web-based architecture and applications
  • Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile development methodologies
  • Ability to organize material and complete writing assignment according to established standards regarding clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Mater's degree
Clearance and Compensation

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172, annualized USD.
