Business Analyst Opportunity

We're seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our agile team in developing digital products that support our clients' most pressing missions. As an IT Business Analyst, you'll work closely with architects, developers, testers, and other stakeholders to identify business needs, gather user requirements, and develop user stories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop leading-edge applications, systems, and products
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high business value products
  • Identify and analyze business needs, gathering user requirements and developing user stories
  • Lead the development of deployable features, working closely with architects, developers, and testers

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in an information technology position as a systems engineer or business analyst
  • Experience with use and application of technical standards, principles, and theories
  • Experience with gathering and documenting requirements
  • Experience with analyzing and managing requirements
  • Knowledge of systems engineering or business analysis methodologies
  • Ability to be analytical and problem-solve
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience with DoD data
  • Experience with writing functional specifications
  • Experience with facilitating cross-team and cross-divisional meetings and coordinating team activities
  • Knowledge of business rules
  • Knowledge of web-based architecture and applications
  • Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile development methodologies
  • Ability to deal with all levels of management, client executives, and client representatives
  • Ability to organize material and complete writing assignments according to established standards
  • Master's degree

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Compensation:

At Booz Allen, we offer a competitive salary range of $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD) and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, life, disability, financial, and retirement benefits, as well as paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work-life programs, and dependent care.
