ASRC Federal NetCentric Technology is seeking a Cybersecurity Incident Response Team Incident Response Analyst to provide support for our Cybersecurity Support Services contract.
This role involves executing tasks associated with the Cyber Incident Response Team (CIRT), which is tasked with identifying, managing, and neutralizing threats and malicious activities.
The selected candidate will enhance and refine cybersecurity incident response capabilities, coordinate or engage in critical investigations, identify areas for improvement in incident response, and prepare comprehensive reports for management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct technical investigations into cybersecurity incidents and events.
- Assess the nature, scope, and cause of incidents, including performing root cause analysis.
- Recommend corrective actions and assist in the containment, eradication, and recovery processes.
- Document incident response activities, corrective measures, and recommendations; prepare incident reports as necessary; contribute to weekly event and incident summaries.
- Develop and maintain incident response Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in line with industry standards and regulations.
- Respond to and investigate cyber events outside of regular business hours when necessary.

Qualifications:
- Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher, with at least one of the following certifications: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, CASP+CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH, or CCSP.
- Active DoD 8570 CSSP Incident Responder certification is a plus, with at least one of the following certifications: CEH, CFR, CCNA Cyber Ops, CHFI, CySA+, GCFA, GCIH, SCYBER, or PenTest+.
- Knowledge of Incident Response Handling Procedures (NIST SP).
- Familiarity with cyber adversary tactics and frameworks (such as ATT&CK and D3FEND).
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Information Technology or Information Security.
- 3+ years of experience in Cybersecurity Incident Response.
- Experience leading a CIRT is a plus.
- Must possess an active DoD Secret clearance with the capability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance.
