Job Summary

To provide high-quality patient care and support licensed personnel in delivering exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the completion of patient care tasks, ensuring a safe and efficient environment.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to develop and prioritize individualized plans of care.
  • Administer medications accurately, observing the '5 rights' and considering patients' age and clinical condition.
  • Perform skills and tasks required by the unit, maintaining a safe environment for patients, caregivers, and disciplines.
  • Document interventions accurately, timely, and legibly, ensuring effective communication among caregivers.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or GED equivalent.
  • Successful completion of Nurse Aide course or equivalent.
  • Current Certified Nursing Aide from the state of Kentucky.
  • BLS certification - American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) or American Red Cross (Healthcare Provider) required.
  • One year experience in Nursing/Surgery preferred.
