Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Medical Assistant to join our Mobile Medical Department. As a Medical Assistant Float, you will be responsible for performing routine clinical and administrative tasks in various locations throughout San Diego County.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing clinical support, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examination, and administering medications
  • Performing administrative duties, such as answering phone calls, registering new patients, and scheduling appointments
  • Working in different environments and being willing to cover at any location within the organization with minimal notice

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, medical laboratory procedures, and healthcare operations and workflow
  • Ability to move up to 50 lbs
