Job Overview
As a Production Assembler, you will be tasked with constructing component parts or assembling the final product according to client specifications. You will ensure the correct components and supplies are secured and maintained for operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare your work area for assembly tasks.
2. Assemble parts according to detailed instructions and quality standards.
3. Utilize hand tools as necessary to complete the assembly process.
4. Organize and stack finished products following established protocols, including covering, labeling, and banding as required.
5. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment is safe for use.
6. Complete pre-shift equipment inspections and report any issues.
7. Keep the work environment orderly and clean.
8. Maintain production documentation as needed.
9. Inspect materials and finished products to confirm compliance with standards.
10. Adhere to established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards.
11. Participate in safety, continuous improvement, and other relevant programs and meetings.
12. Carry out additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not mandatory.
- No prior experience is required; however, 6 months of experience in manufacturing or assembly is advantageous.
- Basic math skills are necessary.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
