Deerfield Episcopal Retirement Community is on the lookout for a dedicated Security Officer to join our team of skilled professionals. Our community is renowned for its exceptional amenities and a vibrant atmosphere that enhances the quality of life for both residents and staff.
In this role, you will be part of a clean and secure environment, ensuring the safety of residents and visitors by responding to assistance requests, patrolling the premises, and conducting regular safety inspections throughout your shift. We are equipped with advanced technology and uphold a commitment to excellence in service.
We seek individuals who are passionate about maintaining a secure living environment for our residents and can respond to inquiries with composure and focus. While prior security experience is advantageous, we are willing to train the right candidate.
Shift Details:
1st Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Hours: 5:30am - 6:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct active patrols of the Deerfield campus on foot, utilizing departmental vehicles as necessary.
- Possess basic proficiency in using smartphones, tablets, PCs, and laptops (including creating documents and managing reports).
- Complete daily logs, incident reports, fire safety reports, and life safety documentation as required.
- Receive training on life safety equipment, access control systems, and work order management.
- Maintain a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
