About the Role

The Sales Associate plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth in our optical stores. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on eyewear and optical products, ensuring every customer leaves our store satisfied and empowered to make informed purchasing decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences to deliver personalized recommendations.
  • Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings, ensuring customers receive the best possible solution for their vision needs.
  • Assist patients in selecting frames, coordinating measurements, and providing expert guidance on optical products.
  • Conduct measurements using optical tools and consult with Opticians as needed to ensure accurate and precise results.
  • Contribute to a positive store environment, fostering strong relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store appearance, ensuring displays and inventory are visually appealing and easy to navigate.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ year of experience in retail or customer service.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, computers, and calculators, with basic phone and math skills.
  • Ability to sell through effective use of sales skills and accountability for sales results.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Self-motivation and ability to multitask, with a flexible approach to a rapidly changing environment.
