We are seeking a highly dedicated Instructor to join our team at Monmouth Medical Center. As a member of our Develop Innovation & Research Department, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and academic excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Implement theory-based nursing practice and enhance cost-effective quality patient care through the roles of educator, leader, mentor, preceptor, consultant, researcher, and role model.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare providers to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Complete assessments of competency skills on all staff on an annual basis.
  • Consult with staff nurses, clinical directors, physicians, administrators, other professionals, and healthcare agencies on practice-related issues.
  • Contribute to performance evaluations of nursing staff as appropriate.
  • Coordinate and facilitate nursing orientation in collaboration with clinical directors, orientees, and preceptors.
  • Develop and conduct educational programs based on skills, knowledge base, and educational needs of nursing staff, patients, and families.
  • Develop nursing standards of practice, standards of patient care, and policies and procedures with staff registered nurses.
Requirements
  • BS/BSN degree
  • Minimum of three years current experience in areas of specialization
  • One-year experience with demonstrated leadership/management
  • Certifications and Licenses Required: BLS and ACLS through AHA, Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License
