Role Overview:

The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for executing diagnostic imaging procedures in alignment with the established protocols for patients at Trinity Health. This role demands adherence to performance standards and encompasses all designated tasks and additional responsibilities in accordance with the mission, vision, and values upheld by Trinity Health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts routine and emergency radiographic examinations for various clinical settings, including urgent care and occupational health, while also performing EKGs as necessary based on patient age considerations.
  • Administers EKGs, including FAA-compliant EKGs.
  • Processes x-ray requests and ensures proper preparation for imaging procedures.
  • Engages in general patient care.
  • Delivers care tailored to the developmental needs of patients, adhering to growth and development principles.
  • Collaborates effectively as a member of the clinical care team, demonstrating a strong commitment to teamwork.
  • Follows all safety, infection control, and health policies and procedures.

Work Hours:

1.0 FTE (80 hours biweekly)

Essential Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited educational program in radiologic technology.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; must possess an Iowa Permit to Practice and maintain continuing education units (CEUs). BLS certification and Mandatory Reporter status are required.
