Customer Service Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Specialist to join our team at Westway Feed Products LLC. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer relationships and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process customer orders and communicate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Collaborate with production facilities to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Monitor and process no-ships, credits, and adjustments in accordance with company policy.
  • Provide excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and colleagues in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Assist the sales team with price FX support and customer communication.
  • Identify and resolve problems, using judgment to find appropriate solutions and follow through in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Previous industry experience in customer service or inside sales.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving, prioritization, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and meet business deadlines.
  • Enthusiasm and adaptability, with a practical approach to delivering real value to the business.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn and use software.
  • Ability to work independently with general direction from supervisor.
