Position Overview:

The University is seeking a dynamic individual to lead the Baseball program, competing at the NCAA Division I level. This role encompasses comprehensive management and strategic oversight of the baseball team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide visionary leadership and mentorship for the intercollegiate baseball program.
  • Oversee player development, skill enhancement, and strategic planning to ensure competitive success within the athletics conference.
  • Manage the recruitment process for prospective student-athletes, ensuring their academic success and adherence to institutional standards.
  • Ensure compliance with NCAA regulations, conference policies, and institutional guidelines.
  • Supervise and develop program staff, managing budgetary considerations, recruitment strategies, scheduling, fundraising, and game management.
  • Engage with alumni, donors, and community partners to enhance the baseball program's visibility and support.
  • Organize and oversee camps and clinics to promote skill development.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in baseball.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience coaching at the NCAA Division I level.
  • Familiarity with NCAA rules and regulations.
  • Experience in NCAA postseason play, either as a coach or student-athlete.
  • Proficiency in software related to scouting, recruiting, and film analysis.
Skills and Abilities:
  • In-depth knowledge of baseball and effective recruiting strategies.
  • Strong communication skills with diverse groups.
  • Ability to coordinate with external teams for game operations.
  • Proven leadership capabilities.
  • Physical capability to perform necessary tasks.
Working Environment:

Must be prepared to work in various weather conditions.
