Job Summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Support Specialist to join our team. This role will provide critical support to our physicians and clinical staff, ensuring seamless integration of technology and clinical workflows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to physicians and clinical staff, addressing technical issues and facilitating IT training and support.
  • Serve as a liaison between IT teams, physicians, and clinical committees to resolve technical issues, enhance system functionality, and increase benefit realization.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to develop and implement effective solutions to support clinical workflows and improve patient care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians and clinical staff to understand their technology needs and preferences.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical and technological advancements, applying this knowledge to improve clinical workflows and patient care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, nursing, healthcare administration, business, or related field.
  • Three years of related experience in an IT or clinical setting, with at least two years in a provider support, training, or optimization capacity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
