Minimum and Additional Requirements:
- Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, Psychology, Education; or a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
In this role, you will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:
- Delivering professional training and support, including bi-weekly documentation requirements and tailored training for field staff engaged in supported employment services.
- Acting as a liaison at the state level to DDSN, assisting Area Supervisors in fostering relationships with local service providers.
- Overseeing and updating agency protocols related to career counseling and information referral sessions as mandated by WIOA regulations.
- Supporting area offices in cultivating local partnerships and resolving challenges; tracking session delivery and maintaining participant logs.
- Providing training for new area supervisors and ACSMs.
- Serving as a subject matter expert on intellectual and mental health disabilities.
- Collaborating closely with Consumer Services and HRD training coordinators to develop high-quality training materials in various formats as assigned.
- Acting as the liaison to Mental Health and the IPS program.
- Conducting training on the IPS model for new staff assigned to these caseloads and performing fidelity reviews in partnership with Mental Health.
- Creating action plans for areas not meeting fidelity standards and working closely with the Area Development Director and Area Supervisor to address program needs.
- Participating as a trainer in a monthly rotation with other staff, providing Consumer Services training to new employees.
- Assisting with projects and tasks as directed by the Director of Consumer Services.
- Addressing requests for policy exceptions and guidance from local field offices as needed.
- Serving as the point of contact for DHHS state office referrals.
- Coordinating counselor assignments and appointments with local offices.
