Staff Registered Nurse RN Neuro PCU Progressive Care Unit

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse RN to join our Neuro PCU Progressive Care Unit team in Temple, Texas.
About the Role:This 38-bed telemetry monitored nursing unit provides a unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients. As a Registered Nurse RN on this unit, you will practice within a team nursing model, collaborating with colleagues to deliver safe, quality, and compassionate patient care.
Unit Highlights:- 4-bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit
- Award-winning Comprehensive Stroke Center certified through Joint Commission
The conditions primarily treated on this unit include:
- Hemicraniectomy
- Aneurysm Clip and Coils
- Glioblastomas
- Carotid Endarterectomy
- TIA
- Stroke – Hemorrhagic and Ischemic
- Neurosurgery
- Seizures
- Brain Mass
- Immediate eligibility for health and welfare benefits

Qualifications:- Grad of an Accredited Program
- Specialized field of study should be nursing
- A current and valid nursing license
- Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role
