We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the 6C Neuro Stroke Center at Mercy. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients with neurological conditions.

About the 6C Neuro Stroke Center

The 6C Neuro Stroke Center is a specialized unit that provides comprehensive care to patients with stroke, neurological, and neurosurgical conditions. Our team of experts works together to provide individualized care to each patient, utilizing the latest technologies and evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with neurological conditions, including stroke, seizures, and brain tumors.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and manage patients' conditions, including vital signs, medications, and treatments.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest best practices and technologies.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
  • Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.
