We are seeking a highly motivated CAD Operator to join our team at Thew Associates LS, PLLC, a leading land and hydrographic surveying and mapping firm.

About the Role

The selected candidate will work under the direction of a Land Surveyor to perform a broad range of drafting duties to support the firm's service areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform drafting duties to support the firm's service areas, including surveying and mapping, hydrographic surveying and mapping, and remote sensing.
  • Process survey data, create digital terrain models, and perform boundary line determination.
  • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Word, and Excel to complete tasks.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and methodologies.
Requirements
  • A.A.S. in Surveying Technology or B.S. in Surveying Engineering or A.A.S. in Computer Aided Design and Drafting Technology.
  • Experience in document research, data processing, and boundary line determination.
  • Excellent computer and technical skills, including AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license.
