Emergency Services Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Services Technician to join our team at MultiCare Health System, Inc. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support patient care and cover administrative and clinical procedures in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care as directed by healthcare practitioners, utilizing critical thinking skills to maintain a safe, therapeutic, and aesthetic environment.
- Deliver nursing care using the nursing process, adhering to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Collaborate with the team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience, and cost reduction.
- Foster a learning environment for patients, families, nursing staff, and other healthcare team members.
- Advocate for ethical and holistic care, promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Current Washington state certification/licensure as a CNA or NA-R, MA-P, MA-C, or successful completion of EMT Training Course.
- MA-P or EMT will be required to obtain NA-R within 90 days of hire.
- CNA, NA-R, or EMT will be required to obtain MA-P within a specified date determined by the region.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Previous experience as a CNA, NA-R, corpsman, or EMT in an emergency department, pre-hospital, or acute care setting within the last three years preferred.
