Job Summary

This role is part of the X-Labs Test and Strategy team, which plays a critical role in ensuring the performance and reliability of customer premise and network equipment. As a Hardware Test and Validation Engineer Intern, you will work on testing new technologies and products, identifying defects, and developing solutions to improve the company's products and services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electrical engineering, physics, or a related field, and will be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. The role will involve working with design and test engineers, product owners, and field operations partners to ensure that products meet the company's quality and performance standards.

The X-Labs team is a diverse collection of technical minds who are passionate about innovation and excellence. We are looking for a talented and motivated individual who is eager to learn and contribute to the team's success.

Responsibilities
  • Test automation
  • QA testing
  • Root cause analysis
  • Provide research assistance to leadership for new technologies or designs
  • Use formal process and tools to manage projects and tasks
Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from a United States-based college or university
  • Rising Junior or Rising Senior only (must have a graduation date between Winter 2025- Spring 2027)
  • Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2025 semester before graduating)
  • Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program- June 2 through August 15, 2025
  • Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
  • Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)
