We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Interventional Pain Services department. Key Responsibilities- Clinical Resource Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming callers, referrals staff, physicians, and other staff members, providing expert clinical guidance and support.
- Call Triage and Assessment: Assess and triage incoming calls, determining the urgency of patient needs and coordinating with referring and receiving physicians to ensure timely and effective care.
- Communication and Coordination: Maintain open communication with physicians, staff, and referring physicians/offices to ensure patients are triaged appropriately and receive timely care.
- Operational Support: Collaborate with the Operations Coordinator to supervise call flow and efficiency within the Referrals Department, including monitoring call processing software and developing reports.
- Confidentiality and Discretion: Maintain confidentiality in all communications regarding patients and staff.
- Current licensure or eligibility for RN licensure in the State of Florida.
- Bachelor's degree/diploma/associate degree from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current Professional Rescuer CPR certification.
- One year or more of hospital or clinic setting experience preferred.
- Prior experience with phone triage and call response.
- Strong computer and applications skills, including MS Office.
- Ability to provide competent clinical knowledge and handle high volumes of incoming calls efficiently.
