Job Overview

The RN Supervisor at CHRISTUS Health plays a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective care to patients. This position requires strong leadership and organizational skills, with a focus on analyzing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and communicating processes and programs that enhance the services comprising the nursing department.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the daily operations of a Nursing department on a 24-hour basis, collaborating with other clinical and ancillary departments to meet organizational and department-specific Quality and Safety Measures, Community Values, Business Literacy, and Service Excellence goals.
  • Assist management of financial and human resources to ensure services meet established quality and productivity standards.
  • Provide feedback and assistance concerning customer satisfaction, staff development, and associate performance and satisfaction.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is required for Magnet facilities; otherwise, preferred. Two years of clinical patient care experience in a relevant setting are also required. Previous Lead or Supervisor experience overseeing work of assigned units, as well as healthcare management experience, are preferred.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is $83,000 - $110,000, based on industry standards and location.
