Key Responsibilities
  • Legal Strategy and Compliance: Develop and implement comprehensive legal strategies aligned with the company's objectives and growth plans, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess legal risks associated with business operations, products, and services, and implement proactive measures to mitigate such risks.
  • Contract Negotiation and Management: Lead negotiations and drafting of a wide range of contracts, including licensing agreements, partnership agreements, vendor contracts, and employment agreements.
  • Intellectual Property Protection: Oversee the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents.
  • Corporate Governance: Advise senior management and the board of directors on corporate governance matters, corporate structure, and regulatory compliance obligations.
  • Litigation and Dispute Resolution: Manage and oversee litigation matters, including disputes, claims, and regulatory investigations.
Requirements
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the bar association.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on technology, healthcare, or related industries. Prior in-house experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of providing strategic legal counsel and leadership in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
  • Deep knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks relevant to mental health technology, including HIPAA, GDPR, and telemedicine laws.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, analyze complex legal issues, and provide practical solutions to mitigate risks.
  • High level of integrity, ethical judgment, and commitment to upholding legal and compliance standards.
