Key Responsibilities:

  • **Leadership and Supervision:**

  • **Maintenance and Repair:**
    • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on the baggage handling system to ensure it operates at optimal levels.
    • Identify and diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues and implement solutions to resolve them.
  • **Quality and Safety:**
    • Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
    • Identify and report any safety hazards or concerns to management.
  • **Communication and Collaboration:**
    • Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operation of the baggage handling system.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives.

Requirements:

  • **Education and Experience:**
    • Minimum 5 years of technical experience in an industrial environment.
    • 2 years of prior experience as a Lead Technician.
  • **Skills and Qualifications:**
    • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and controls systems.

Working Conditions:

  • **Work Environment:**
    • Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent deadlines.
    • Exposure to mechanical and electrical systems, as well as potential hazards.
  • **Physical Demands:**
    • Regularly lift and move heavy objects (over 50 pounds).
