About Our Job

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Analyst to join our Global Payroll team at Handshake. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing end-to-end processing of payroll in US and Europe, ensuring accurate and on-time payment for 600+ employees. You will analyze and detect opportunities for improvement, recommend scalable processes and best practices, and assist the Payroll team with compliance-related matters.

Your Responsibilities

  • Perform end-to-end processing of payroll in US and Europe, ensuring accurate and on-time payment for 600+ employees.
  • Analyze and detect opportunities for improvement and recommend scalable processes and best practices.
  • Assist the Payroll team with compliance-related matters such as multi-jurisdiction tax withholdings, annual audits, balancing and reconciling paydata etc.

Requirements

We are looking for a self-motivated, results-driven individual with strong analytical and organizational skills, who is eager to collaborate with various stakeholders, has a keen attention to detail, and shows a desire for growth and learning. You should have a minimum of 3 years of relevant and progressive payroll experience, preferably in a public company setting. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, and/or Accounting is required; CPA and/or CPP designation is preferred but not required. Experience with Workday HCM and Workday Payroll is a plus.
