About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Apartment Leasing Specialist to join our team at The Coves at Monticello, an apartment community in Palmyra, VA. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for marketing the property, presenting its features and benefits to prospective residents, and securing lease agreements from qualified individuals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market the apartment community to prospective residents and present its features and benefits in a professional and compelling manner.
  • Qualify and process lease applications, including verifying applicant information and completing all necessary paperwork.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents and prospective residents, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with the preparation of daily and weekly reports, including market surveys and resident communications.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws related to rental practices.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and reliable means of transportation.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with property management software preferred.
  • Ability to work a rotating schedule that includes weekends.
