We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Worker II to join our team at Solano County. Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of client needs and develop effective case plans to address their social, emotional, and economic challenges.
- Provide counseling and support services to clients, including individual and group therapy sessions, to help them achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.
- Collaborate with other social services professionals, community organizations, and government agencies to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to addressing client needs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community resources and service providers to ensure access to necessary services and support for clients.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current on best practices and evidence-based interventions in social work.
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field, with a minimum of one year of experience in social services or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of social work principles, theories, and practices, as well as experience working with diverse populations and communities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and community partners.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple cases and responsibilities.
- Valid California driver's license and ability to travel to various locations as needed.
