The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Housing Retention Associate to join our STEHP Eviction Prevention Program. Reporting to the Housing Retention Supervisor, the Associate will play a critical role in delivering services to at-risk households, fostering positive landlord-tenant relationships, and ensuring compliance with program standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct intake assessments to determine participant eligibility and needs based on STEHP guidelines.
  2. Develop strengths-based service plans focusing on budgeting, employment, and housing stability.
  3. Provide monthly check-ins through in-person visits, phone calls, or virtual meetings to monitor progress.
  4. Facilitate tenant education sessions covering rights, responsibilities, and housing retention strategies.
  5. Act as a liaison between participants and landlords to mediate disputes and address housing concerns.
  6. Collaborate with landlords to resolve issues related to lease compliance or rental arrears.
  7. Maintain thorough and confidential participant files, documenting progress and case notes.
  8. Assist in compiling data for required reports and compliance with HMIS (Homeless Management Information System) standards.
  9. Coordinate with external agencies to connect participants to resources such as mental health, legal, and employment services.
  10. Participate in the on-call rotation to address urgent participant needs after hours as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Possess passion for the mission of Anthos|Home and the ability to work in a diverse environment.
  • Hold 2+ years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in housing or human services.
  • Demonstrate exceptional organizational and record-keeping abilities, coupled with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Showcase strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exhibit proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.
  • Demonstrate ability to use public transportation or meet travel requirements with reasonable accommodation.
  • Demonstrate ability to ascend/descend stairs at locations without elevator access.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Raise: $55,000-$57,000 annually.
