Job Overview:
The Nurse Practitioner Psychiatric (NPP) will provide high-quality mental health services to Housing Works clients in various settings. This includes conducting psychiatric evaluations, managing medications, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless care coordination. With your expertise, you will contribute to our mission of providing accessible healthcare services to those in need.

To succeed in this role, you must have a New York State License, Master's degree in Nursing, and relevant certifications. We also expect you to adhere to all State, Federal, and Regulatory agency laws and regulations while maintaining the highest ethical standards. As a valued member of our team, you can expect competitive compensation of $145,000 - $150,000 yearly, comprehensive healthcare plans, PTO, and equal employment opportunities.

Housing Works has been a leader in AIDS advocacy since its founding in 1990. We established New York State's first harm reduction-based, OASAS-licensed outpatient drug treatment program and continue to expand our services to meet the evolving needs of our clients. Responsibilities:
- Provide routine psychiatric evaluations and medication management services in clinic and community-based settings
- Coordinate care with colleagues within the clinic and outside providers as per standard clinical practice
- Participate in clinical supervision, case conferences, and quality meetings
- Provide clinical consultation and supervision to clinic staff and students as needed
- Maintain the highest level of professionalism and adherence to State, Federal, and Regulatory agency laws and regulations
- Continuously improve service delivery and outcomes through ongoing evaluation and feedback
