**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Manager to join our team at BlueOval SK LLC. As a key member of our start-up team, you will play a critical role in launching our facility from the ground up.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to lead transformational change and drive business excellence in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will be responsible for improving all areas of the business within the facility, including program cost study and executive review support, plan and manage changes to the system, and support high hurt and team concerns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Cost Study & Executive Review Support
    • Utilize the Cost Study Process to manage program changes, including volume adjustments, facility modifications, and future business needs.
    • Support Executive Reviews, including preparation of Launch Readiness Scorecards, Plant Operating Reviews, and Executive On-Site Reviews.
    • Coordinate among various teams, including Ford Business Office, New Model Launch, SK On, and plant team.
  • Plan & Manage Changes to the System
    • Plan and implement revisions and improvements to meet new standards as the manufacturing operating systems mature.
    • Lead and facilitate cost studies involving proposed material and process changes that influence operational or capital requirements.
    • Facilitate information sharing between Ford/SK product development, customers, and general affairs.
    • Confirm change control processes/tasks across all functional areas are communicated, documented, and executed.
  • Drive the Creation and Coordination of Work Plans
    • Adhere to and modify Time & Data Management to promote, support, and coach a continuous improvement mindset and activities in the team.
    • Organize, track, and manage all material and process changes through notice, functional trial, and purchase part approval process (PPAP).
    • Lead cross-functional manage the change, special builds, and process change meetings and activities.
  • Support High Hurt & Team Concerns
    • Coach, teach, and feedback on resolution of abnormalities and validate closure of concerns.
    • Drive continuous improvement on systemic abnormalities to prevent reoccurrence.
    • Support plant capital improvement project funding and implementation activities.
    • Support plant-led launch activities, capital expenditure commitment, and checkbook balancing.
    • Monitor and confirm that manufacturing operating system standards are being applied and adhered to throughout the area.
    • Facilitate results process through utilization of standard processes and tools.
    • Develop, coach, and support to achieve SQDCPME objectives.
  • Create a Conducive Work Environment
    • Create a Zero Tolerance environment and reaffirm team members respect each other.
    • Create a proactive performance-driven culture that listens, reacts, and supports (effective communication, education, listening, trust) to capture the hearts and minds of the people.

Education and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree - Engineering discipline
  • Experience: Production experience

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree - Engineering discipline with strong manufacturing experience
