We are seeking a skilled Tax Manager to oversee our Energy division within the Complex Property Tax sector at Altus Group. This position is designed for remote work and will report to leadership.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Direct project management with an emphasis on client satisfaction and retention
  • Oversee project execution by consultants under supervisory guidance
  • Perform intricate analyses
  • Manage account reconciliations with oversight from leadership
  • Foster and sustain client relationships while maintaining service excellence
  • Respond efficiently to client inquiries
  • Clearly communicate project updates and information to instill confidence in Altus' deliverables
  • Present analytical findings to supervisors and clients
  • Ensure systems are updated for revenue forecasting, timing, and staffing
  • Employ advanced functions and technologies for project implementation
  • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of valuation principles for presenting cases
  • Review team members' outputs to ensure adherence to Altus standards and project requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline preferred
  • Experience in complex property taxation, particularly in energy or renewable sectors is desirable
  • Valuation expertise in specialized industrial facilities, both real and personal property
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
