This position involves performing mechanical upkeep tasks necessary for the operation and servicing of equipment using both standard and specialized tools, including mobile machinery such as cranes and forklifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various mechanical systems and equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems, lubrication, power transmission, conveyors, cranes, and mobile machinery.
- Assist in operational functions as needed.
- May involve working at heights or in confined spaces.
- Work independently with minimal supervision or collaboratively with other maintenance personnel.
- Adapt to various areas within the plant, where environmental conditions may vary significantly.
- Successful completion of assessment tests.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- A minimum of one year of experience in manufacturing or industrial settings, including relevant military experience, or equivalent education. This includes familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, power transmission systems, welding, pipe-fitting, structural repair, and diesel mechanics.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Availability for overtime as necessary.
- Commitment to adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Safety is a core value, requiring the use of protective gear such as hard hats, safety glasses, hearing protection, and appropriate clothing.
- Reliability in attendance and punctuality is essential for operational success.
