Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare examination rooms and take patient vitals
  • Document patient information for the Dermatologist
  • Assist with various procedures, including injections, excisions, and suture removals
  • Manage patient appointment scheduling
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms
  • Support physicians in delivering patient care
  • Facilitate patient check-in and check-out processes
  • Room patients and record vital signs
  • Handle patient scheduling and phone inquiries
  • Process referrals and insurance authorizations
  • Prioritize messages from patients and front office staff to medical providers
  • Verify insurance information as necessary
Qualifications:
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant
  • Current CPR/BLS Certification
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in dermatology
  • Familiarity with EMR systems (preferred but not mandatory)
Expectations:
  • Full-time position (Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM)
  • Focus on dermatology
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred
  • Experience in scribing and assisting with minor procedures
