Automotive Sales Representative

The Sales Representative possesses a deep understanding or eagerness to learn about our automotive offerings and services, the market landscape, and industry trends, including vehicle choices, performance metrics, accessories, safety features, and financing alternatives for both new and pre-owned vehicle selections.

This role involves showcasing both new and used vehicles to potential buyers in an appealing and informative manner, fostering immediate sales while nurturing ongoing relationships to promote customer loyalty and repeat business.

The ideal candidate will have a background in sales (from any sector), coupled with exceptional customer service abilities, a confident demeanor, a polished appearance, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Assists customers in selecting vehicles and highlights model features, value-added products and services, as well as financing options in accordance with dealership guidelines. Conducts test drives while ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations. Facilitates vehicle delivery by providing comprehensive explanations of vehicle operations, warranty coverage, and maintenance requirements. Maintains precise sales documentation. Engages in ethical negotiation practices to finalize sales. Keeps current with knowledge of all vehicles, accessories, financing options, and promotional offers. Participates in all required staff meetings, training sessions, and educational opportunities. Performs additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Sales experience is advantageous (across any industry). Dependable and professional demeanor. Ability to meet objectives with minimal supervision. Strong focus on safety and customer service. Basic computer and internet proficiency. Excellent communication skills. Professional appearance and work ethic. Capability to read and understand instructions.
