Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Technician to join our team at Epsilon. As a Data Center Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring and assisting in the day-to-day operations of our data center. This includes assisting team members with new builds in remote sites, working with different departments to deploy new environments, and maintaining a clean and organized data center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and assist in the day-to-day operations of the data center
  • Assist team members with new builds in remote sites
  • Work with different departments to deploy new environments
  • Maintain a clean and organized data center
  • Receive, deploy, cable, and document new equipment
  • Perform troubleshooting and repair of data center hardware and networking infrastructure
  • Rack and stack data center equipment, including servers, networking devices, and monitoring systems
  • Monitor and respond to tickets in a ticketing environment
  • Document activities and create/modify SOPs
  • Decommission life cycle of data center hardware
  • Inventory process, order replacement parts, and return failed parts as required
Requirements
  • 2 years of data center experience
  • Knowledge of Dell PowerEdge Servers
  • Knowledge of Dell iDRAC
  • Knowledge of data center power types and standards
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Strong interest in learning new DC concepts
  • Dependable and trustworthy
  • Process-oriented
Preferred Qualifications
  • RACADM CLI
  • Knowledge of Network topography
  • Dell Openmanage Enterprise experience
