Benchmark Human Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the position of Nurse Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct supervision and guidance to a team of nurses to ensure safe and effective healthcare services.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance client outcomes.
- Manage and direct a team of nurses to ensure that client needs are met and services are provided according to the client's healthcare needs.
- Assist in the development and implementation of competency-based training programs to ensure that staff have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
- Facilitate problem-solving sessions to enable staff to resolve client and/or reimbursement/prior authorization issues.
- Ensure compliance with self-administration of medications policy and complete daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly paperwork and assessments of healthcare needs.
- Provide guidance during client emergency medical situations and monitor and maintain clients' medical files to ensure that all documentation is current.
- Facilitate communication between all medical service providers, IDT, and supervisor to ensure quality of care.
- Provide 24/7 on-call services to mobile crisis teams and crisis support homes.
- Nursing License (RN) and Driver's License.
- 5 years of supervisory experience.
- Experience working with individuals with IDD.
- CPR certification.
- CPI certified.
