Position Overview
Position Title: Academic Advisor I - Senior Academic Advisor I
Position Type: Staff Full-Time
Job Summary: This role is essential in providing comprehensive academic guidance to students enrolled in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program, primarily focusing on those participating in online courses. The advisor will work closely with various stakeholders within the Graduate Programs to ensure students receive the necessary support throughout their academic journey.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Serve as the primary academic advisor for MBA students, facilitating their educational experience and addressing their academic needs.
2. Evaluate student records while adhering to FERPA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
3. Offer support and guidance to students, assisting them in navigating their academic paths and addressing any challenges they may encounter.
4. Perform administrative duties and manage special projects as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency of the Graduate Programs.
5. Maintain effective communication with students and faculty, fostering a supportive academic environment.
6. Participate in meetings representing the Graduate Programs, contributing insights and feedback to enhance student services.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Proficiency in computer systems to manage student enrollment and advisement processes.
- Strong service orientation and ability to work effectively with a diverse population in a dynamic environment.

Preferred:
- Master's degree and three years of relevant experience.
