Key Responsibilities- Classroom Leadership: Plan, prepare, and collaborate to create a welcoming and engaging space for children to learn and grow.
- Curriculum Implementation: Masterfully bring our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum to life, adapting your approach to meet the individual needs of Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschool children.
- Safety First: Prioritize a safe and nurturing environment where children can thrive, and ensure that all necessary precautions are taken to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Family Communication: Regularly update parents on their child's progress and milestones, using a mix of mobile apps and in-person discussions to keep them informed and engaged.
- Center Collaboration: Work closely with center staff and leadership to drive retention, enrollment, and engagement goals, and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
- Relationship Builder: Cultivate warm and meaningful relationships with families and colleagues, fostering an environment where learning and play coexist effortlessly.
- Educational Background: Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role, with a High School Diploma or GED required and ECE coursework preferred.
- Experience: Extended experience in a childcare setting, with a history of classroom leadership roles and a deep-rooted passion for early childhood education.
- State Compliance: Must meet state and federal guidelines, including performance level, immunizations, employment physicals, and required health and safety training.
- Caregiving Skills: Proven judgment to identify and address potential risks in a childcare setting, with the ability to ensure children's safety and meet their everyday needs.
- Physical Resilience: Demonstrates full range of motion to stand, walk, lift, and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds, with the ability to supervise by sight and sound.
