Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join our team.

Job Summary

The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, and processing medical equipment and instruments to ensure they are safe for patient use.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and decontaminate medical equipment and instruments using detergents and disinfectant solutions.
  • Operate semi-automatic and automatic sterilization equipment and washers.
  • Receive, stock, and rotate medical supplies and equipment.
  • Maintain inventory and records of medical equipment and supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and infection control practices.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Less than 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and sterilization methods preferred.
